The babies have arrived!!

First two hatchings! They were born yesterday or last night. After sitting on the verandah for over an hour in the rain waiting for a glimpse, the rain finally eased.

'Show me your babies!' I said to Mummy bird. 'Where are your babies?' She looked right at me, as she does, and then she flew away and left the nest for A FULL MINUTE. Maybe they both took the rain easing as opportunity to grab some extra food, or maybe they left me to babysit. In any case, I got the some photos!
