It's winter here on the east coast of Australia, and since Jervis Bay sticks out from the coast like a big barnacle, we see quite a lot of migrating whales swimming north from Antarctica towards the warmer tropical waters to breed and give birth. I have spent many hours perched on rocks and cliff-tops, or in boats, waiting for whales. Sometimes sea eagles, and other sea birds, put on a better show. Or seals and dolphins, or the gorgeous coastline. It never really matters. There's always something to, er, sea.
Anyway, here's some pics.
